Zvánovec a.s. is a South-Bohemian construction company with its own technical base and a stable team. Since 1992 we have delivered everything from ponds and wastewater treatment plants to civil and industrial buildings — end to end, from planning to handover.

Site visit and consultation

- We come out, assess the conditions on site and advise on the next steps, including design preparation.

- Send the design documentation with the bill of quantities from your designer, or the tender documents for a public contract.

- We prepare an itemised price, a programme and our qualification documents: reference letters and ISO certificates.

Pre-construction

- Sign the contract and hand the site over to us, with the building permit where one is needed.

- We arrange materials, machinery, traffic signage and the input for the health and safety plan.

- Attend regular site meetings and decide on any changes.

- We build mainly with our own people and machinery, maintain the site diary and keep you informed throughout.

Handover and warranty

- Accept the completed project and the documents needed for final approval.

- We put right any minor defects found at handover and deal with warranty claims.
Timescales are indicative. For a public contract, the contractor is selected before pre-construction starts. Exact dates are set by the contract.
What municipalities ask us
Can you help us with a grant?
The municipality applies for the grant itself, as the client, and the budget for the application usually comes from the designer. From us you get an itemised price and a programme, and during construction valuations of the work completed for interim payment claims.
Do you bid for public contracts?
Yes, regularly. Most of our projects are for municipalities and state-owned enterprises such as Lesy ČR, Povodí Vltavy and Povodí Odry. We demonstrate our qualifications with reference letters and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification.
Do you take on smaller jobs?
Yes. Alongside large projects we take on smaller ones. Restoring the village pond in Zaječice cost CZK 2.7 million and renewing the water main in Sepekov just under CZK 1 million, both excluding VAT.
Where do you work?
Mainly in South Bohemia. We have also built in the Central Bohemian, Plzeň and Hradec Králové regions. On the River Ostravice in the Moravian-Silesian region, in a consortium with Lesostavby Frýdek-Místek, we completed a project named Water Management Structure of the Year 2018.
